• As a senior was named to Class 3A All-State team

• 2007 graduate of Erie High School
• Parents are Tammy and Blake Smith
• Major is marketing
• Few people know that she is from Colorado but has never been skiing or snowboarding

Coach Mata says: “A talented athlete who should figure prominently into our pitching rotation.  She is very intelligent and seems to love the game.  Katie has the potential to do some great things in the circle and I’ve been happy with her progression.”
