Junior (2011):
    Named honorable mention all-conference in her first season with the TexAnns... Started all 48 games she appeared in as a junior... Hit .266 with nine home runs and 32 RBIs... Recorded 226 putouts and made 23 defensive assists while only committing five errors.

North Central TX College:
    Named academic all-conference in 2010... Was a second-team all-conference catcher... Was first-team all-conference designated hitter... Was academic all-conference in 2009 and 2010.

High School:
    Was team Most Valuable Player in 2007 and 2008... Played varsity softball four seasons... Named second-team all-district in 2006 and 2007... Selected first-team all-district in 2008... Graduated magna cum laude.

Personal:
    Is a 2008 graduate of Birdville High School in North Richland Hills... Daughter of Sam and Mary Ann Welborn... Sister Emily played two years of basketball at Lon Morris before transferring to Midwestern State and younger sister Susan has verbally committed to play softball for Texas Tech... Mother is in the Hall of Fame at the University of Arizona for synchronized swimming... Father played baseball for the Phillies, Mariners and Astros.
