Biography

Junior (2012-13):
     Earned all-conference honors in singles play... Posted a 12-8 record in singles play, primarily at the No. 3 spot but also seeing competition in the No. 2 and 4 positions... Went 11-10 in doubles, pairing primarily with Ivana Zecevic... Barnes and Zecevic held down the No. 2 doubles position from Feb. 8 through the end of the spring season, including going 2-2 in the postseason... Named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll... Named an ITA Scholar Athlete.

Sophomore (2011-12):
     Named the Lone Star Conference 'Arthur Ashe' award winner... Named LSC all-academic... Earned all-LSC doubles honors... Named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll... Went 15-4 in singles competition, including 14-4 as the No. 3 player for the TexAnns... Was 11-8 in doubles competition alongside partner Karla Martinez.

Freshman (2010-11):
    Named all-conference by the LSC for her success in doubles... Finished her first collegiate season with 14 singles victories... Won 14 doubles matches alongside partner Adrianna Jaskova and went 1-0 in a match with Mariana Freitas.

Duncan (Okla.) High School:
    Four-time regional champion... Two-time state runner-up at No. 1 singles... Four-time member of the Oklahoma All-Star team... 2010 all-state selection... 2010 Jim Thorpe Player of the Year... Three-time member of the Academic State Championship Team... Three-time member of the state runner-up team.

Personal:
    Is a 2010 graduate of Duncan High School in Duncan, Okla.... Daughter of Paula and Phillip Barnes... Majoring in Social Work with a minor in Political Science and Spanish... Born July 6, 1991.
