Biography
Junior (2012-13):
Competed in cross country and track and field for the Texans... Competed in three cross country meets for Tarleton in the fall... Ran the 800m in six track and field meets in the spring... Set a season-best of 1:57.24 en route to a 17th place finish at the LSC Championship meet.
Sophomore (2011-12):
Ran a season-best time of 29:18 at the LSC Championship meet in San Angelo... Competed for the Tarleton track and field team... Recorded a first-place finish in the 800m run last spring and a season-best time of 1:55.84 in the 800m run at the Baylor meet.
Freshman (2010):
Best performance came at the ACU meet, where he ran the race in 29:22.
Northwest High School:
Lettered for three years... Also lettered for one year in baseball... Member of District 5-5A championship track team in 2010.
Personal:
Is a 2010 graduate of Northwest High School in Justin... Son of Linda Nance and Richard Cooper... Has three siblings - Rick and Travis Cooper, and Aiden Nance... Majoring in Kinesiology... Birthday is August 15, 1991.
