Freshman (2012-13):
Competed in five cross country events for the Texans... Finished in the top 10 in two events - the Texas Twilight and the ASU Blue and Gold - earning a second-place finish at ASU... Set an 8K personal best time of 26.33 at the LSC Championship Meet.
Smithson Valley High School:
Lettered four years of track and field and two years of cross country... Named a track and field captain... State qualifier in the 1600m and 3200m as a senior... Finished second at the state meet in the 3200m run with a time of 9:15... Helped his team to a district championship as a junior... Made state appearances in 2011 and 2012... Named National Elite in the 3200m milesplit... Named second-team academic all-state... Competed alongside current Texan teammate, James Polasek.
