Biography

Sophomore (2012-2013):
    Qualified for the National Championships in High Jump… Jumped a career-best 2.09m (6’ 10.25’’) at the ACU Last Chance meet for his second provisional mark of the season… Finished second at the LSC Championship meet in high jump with his first career national mark of 2.07m (6’ 9.5’’) in the high jump… Played in 30 games for the Texan Basketball Team and started in 12...Averaged 21.2 minutes per game and 5.3 points per game... Went 69-for-92 from the field (.750) and 21-for-52 (.404) from the free throw line... Grabbed 141 rebounds, 18 blocks, 12 steals, and 12 assist... Qualified for the 2013 NCAA Division II track and field championships by clearing 2.07m (6’ 9.5”) in route to a second place finish at the LSC Conference meet.
 
Freshman (2011-12):
    Played in 16 games as a true-freshmen for the Texans... Averaged 0.9 points in 2.6 minutes a game... Went 7-for-14 (.500) from the field... Pulled down 11 rebounds and had four steals... Scored a career-high five points against Dallas Christian on Dec. 31, 2011.
 
Duncanville High School:
    Named Defensive Player of the year in District 5-5A in 2011... Was involved in the Duncanville Athletic Ambassadors and High School Heroes.
 
Personal:
    Graduated from Duncanville High School in 2011... Son of Timothy and Arrious Carter... Has two siblngs, Achiquan and Timothy... Majoring in Kinesiology... Birthdate is June 9.
