Junior (2021) 
Raced in three meets during the fall 2021 season … Began her junior year by registering a 5k personal record (20:02.80) at the UTA XC Invite … Shaved 1:57 of her previous 5k personal best at the meet … Concluded the fall by clocking a 6k personal record of 24:57.20 to place 85th at the WAC Cross Country Championships. 

Sophomore (2021) 
Raced in both of Tarleton’s meets in the program’s abbreviated spring 2021 season … Finished 52nd with a time of 25:50.80 on a 6k course at the Incarnate Word Invitational on Jan. 29 … Placed 47th at the WAC Championships on Feb. 27 in Seattle in 26:23.80 in a 6k race. 

Freshman (2019) 
Competed in four meets … Set a personal record in the 8,000m (25:30.50) to place 13th at the Angelo State Blue/Gold Classic … Came in 57th place at the Texas Tech Open with a time of 21:52.90 on a 5,000m course … Helped the women’s team finish fifth and 14th, respectively, at the Lone Star Conference Championships and NCAA South Central Regional Championships. 

San Saba High School 
Was a four-year letter winner in cross country and track and field for respective coaches Brandy Eckerman and Alicia Cummings … Won two District titles and finished second in the UIL Cross Country Championships in 2016 and 2018 … Also notched two Regional titles in cross country in 2016 and 2018 … Was the runner-up in the 2015 Regional meet … Competed in the 1,600m and 3,200m in track … Won four Regional titles, three Area championships and finished first in two District meets in the 1,600m … In the 3,200m, took first in four District and Regional championships and won three Area titles in the event … Helped cross country team win three four Regional championships (2016-2019) and three District team titles (2016-2018) … Member of UIL State Championship teams that placed 10th in 2017, third in 2018, and second in 2019 … Earned All-State honors four times in track and was named to the All-State cross country team in three seasons … Named Team MVP in both sports every season … Holds high school’s 1,600m record (5:26.42) and 3,200m record (11:33.17) … Also played three years of varsity softball and earned two All-District team accolades … Rotary Club honor student.

Is a 2019 graduate of San Saba HS in San Saba, TX ... Daughter of Michael and Robin Ellis ... Majoring in kinesiology ... Born on June 8.
