Biography

Sargent transfers in from Coffeyville CC, located in Coffeyville, Kansas. In nine games played in his one year on the team last year, he totaled 27 tackles, three tackles for loss, four fumble recoveries and a forced fumble.
 
In his collegiate debut, he had a career-high six tackles in his team’s 37-0 shutout win over Highland CC-Kansas. Against Hutchinson CC on Sept. 24, he finished with two fumble recoveries and a tackle for loss.
 
The Wichita Falls, Texas, native attended Rider High School. He had interest from Kansas State, Houston, North Texas, Louisiana Tech, Harvard, Pennsylvania and Columbia.
