Hubbard joins the Texans after playing four varsity years at Grandview High School. Last season playing both running back and linebacker, Hubbard had 135 tackles, six sacks, 11 quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles and a pass breakup. On offense, he had 1,005 yards and 16 touchdowns on 132 carries (7.6 YPC), also catching 54 passes for 885 yards and seven touchdowns. He was named the All-State 3A D1 Offensive MVP and First Team All-State 3A D1 at linebacker, plus the All-Johnson County MVP RB/LB. As a junior, Hubbard was the District MVP, All-State Second Team at linebacker and All-Johnson County First Team. He was also First Team All-District as a sophomore in 2023. Hubbard has also participated four varsity years of track and field, a regional qualifier in the 4x400 in both 2023-24, and a regional final qualifier in the 4x400 in 2024. Last year, he was a regional qualifier in the 200m dash and a regional final qualifier in the 4x100 and 4x200.
 
Hubbard, a Grandview, Texas, native, is undecided on his major at this point as he arrives at Tarleton State University.
