Searcy played the last two seasons at East Central. Last season, he was the team’s leading rusher, going for 595 yards and four touchdowns on 108 carries (5.5 YPC). He added 123 yards on 24 receptions. He began his sophomore campaign with 174 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries against Ouachita Baptist on Sept. 4. He followed it with back-to-back 100-yard games, rushing for 101 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries against Arkansas-Monticello on Sept. 13. In 2024 as a true freshman, Searcy rushed for 379 yards and three touchdowns on 67 carries, plus had a receiving touchdown and 122 yards on 16 receptions in eight games played. Searcy was named All-GAC Second Team last season and All-GAC Third Team in 2024.
 
Searcy played his prep football at Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Texas. He played three varsity seasons for his dad, Neil Searcy, earning First Team All-Conference three times and a Utility Player of the Year Award.
 
Searcy, a Killeen, Texas, native, will major in kinesiology at Tarleton State University.
