Culotta joins the Texans after two seasons with Henderson State. He played a collective 13 games between 2024-25, totaling 100 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup. After redshirting as a true freshman with just two games played in 2024, Culotta had 4.5 sacks last season, nine tackles for loss, 94 total tackles, a forced fumble and a pass breakup last year. He logged four games with double-digit tackles last year, with two multi-sack outings, including a two-sack, 12-tackle game with a forced fumble and a pass breakup in the season finale at Ouachita on Nov. 15. He was named All-GAC Third Team last year.
 
Culotta played his prep football at Lake Creek High School, where he was named All-District 5A-2 Defensive MVP his senior season, plus was Second Team All-State. He recorded a Lake Creek single-season record 141 tackles and six forced fumbles, along with two fumble recoveries, 11 sacks, 14 TFL and four blocked kicks in 2023. He holds the Lake Creek football career record with 231 tackles and seven forced fumbles. He helped Lake Creek win a pair of district championships.
 
Culotta, a Montgomery, Texas, native, will major in general business at Tarleton State University.
