Biography
Gipson has played the last three seasons at the NCAA Division II and JUCO levels, spending a year at Nebraska-Kearney and two years at Trinity Valley CC. Gipson had a tied-team-high four interceptions last season, adding four pass breakups, 2.0 TFL and 55 total tackles in 10 games. On Oct. 11 against Missouri Western State, Gipson had two interceptions, including a 34-yard pick-six, to go with two pass breakups, six total tackles and a half-TFL.

At Trinity Valley CC, he had 32 career tackles over 19 games, adding three pass breakups, a forced fumble and one tackle for loss. He started his collegiate career at Midwestern State, where he redshirted in 2022.

Gipson played his prep football at Langham Creek High School in Houston, where he was Second Team All-District 16-6A at CB as a senior. He had 31 tackles (3.0 TFL), four pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and a blocked punt that season. He was a four-year letterwinner, a first-year starter in 2019, plus part of a 2018 team that advanced to the bi-round of the UIL Texas Class 6A playoffs. He was also a three-year varsity track letterwinner, with a PR of 11.36 in the 100m, and a PR of 23.93 in the 200.

Gipson, a Houston native, will major in sports management at Tarleton State University.
