Bellamy played last season at Glenville State and made an immediate impact, named First Team All-Conference in the MEC. He went for 854 receiving yards, posting a career day against Charleston, accounting for 177 yards on 12 receptions. Javian also had four games where he had 100-plus receiving yards and finished the season with nine touchdowns.
 
He began his collegiate career at Erskine College, where he played both football and basketball. He appeared in 16 games there between 2020 and 2021, totaling seven touchdowns, 54 catches and 662 yards.
 
The Irmo, South Carolina, native, played his prep career at Ben Lippen School in Columbia.
