Tarleton State University Athletics

Jeffery spent a year at Syracuse in 2023, where he redshirted. He then spent two seasons (2024-25) at Anderson University, an NCAA Division II program in the South Atlantic Conference. He played in 22 combined games, recording 157 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, two sacks and three pass breakups. Last season he was the team’s second leading tackler with 75 total after leading the team in tackles in 2024 with 82. He also had the most fumble recoveries on the team in 2024 with two. He posted seven double-digit tackle games, three last year and four in 2024. He was Second Team All-Conference last year, and a 2024 All-Mountain Defense Honoree.
 
Jeffery played his prep football at Greenwood High School in Greenwood, South Carolina. He was the Region Defensive Player of the Year, All-South Carolina, and twice an All-Lakelands Team selection. As a senior in 2022, he made 71 tackles, had nine tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a defensive touchdown. He also played three games on offense and scored seven rushing touchdowns in those games, totaling 347 yards, adding one receiving touchdown as well. 
 
Jeffery, a Hodges, South Carolina, native, will major in sports management at Tarleton State University.
