Brown played the last four years at Mount Union, an NCAA Division III school, part of the Ohio Athletic Conference. Brown was an All-American by four affiliations last season, including the AP and AFCA. He led the team and the conference in both sacks (10.5) and tackles for loss (17.5), totaling double-digit sacks for the second year in a row. He led a defense that was sixth in NCAA Division III in scoring defense, allowing only 12.2 points per game. Brown was named the OAC Defensive Lineman of the Year while earning All-OAC First Team for the second straight year. Brown was named on the 2025 AP First Team and Second Team on both the AFCA and D3football.com teams, plus the 2025 Walter Camp Division III All-America Team.
 
Altogether at Mount Union. Brown played in 41 games, recording 32 sacks and 49 tackles for loss, to go with nine forced fumbles, eight fumble recoveries, an interception, eight pass breakups, and 151 total tackles. He had 12.5 sacks and 18 tackles for loss in 2024, plus had nine sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss, to go with four fumble recoveries, in 2023. He made All-OAC First Team, D3football.com All-Region 4 First Team and D3football.com All-America Third Team in 2024, plus was All-OAC Second Team in 2023.
 
Brown was a three-sport athlete at La Plata High School in Maryland, participating in football, basketball and track and field. He played one varsity season of football and dominated that year, recording 13 sacks and All-District accolades, plus played in the SMAC Football All-Star game.
 
Brown, a La Plata, Maryland, native, will major in sports management at Tarleton State University.
