Biography

Kamakawiwoole played last season at Golden West at the JUCO level. He completed 162-of-244 (.664) passes for 2,286 yards and 25 touchdowns, with eight interceptions. He had seven games with multiple touchdown passes, including five games with three pass touchdowns, three with four and a season-high five against Ventura on Nov. 29. He ended the year with a season-high 320 pass yards against San Mateo on Dec. 13.
 
He started his collegiate career in 2024 at Lewis & Clark, an NCAA Division III program in the Northwest Conference. There he was the Northwest Conference Rookie of the Year and a Northwest Conference honorable mention at QB. He threw for 2,376 yards and 19 touchdowns, adding two rushing touchdowns. He earned the starting job and made an immediate impact in his first season as a Pioneer, where he set the single-season record for completion percentage (.697) and finished fifth in passing yards and tied for fifth in passing touchdowns. He threw for over 300 yards four times, including a pair of 400-plus yard games. He finished the year third in the NWC in passing yards, second in passing touchdowns and led the entire conference in completion percentage. Kamakawiwoole earned his first collegiate start against nationally-ranked Montana Western and went 29-of-42 for a season-high 425 yards and five touchdown passes.
 
Kamakawiwoole played his prep football at Saint Louis High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. He accepted an invite to play in the 2023 Dream All-American Bowl in Dallas.
 
Kamakawiwoole, a Kaimuki, Hawaii, native, will major in business at Tarleton State University.
