Tarleton State University Athletics

Thompson arrives at Tarleton State after four years spent playing for the Arkansas Razorbacks (2022-25). He played in a combined three games between 2023-24, making his collegiate debut in Arkansas’ season-opening win over Western Carolina (Sept. 2), where he recorded two tackles.
 
Thompson played defensive end at Aledo High School, leading the Bearcats to a 12-1 mark and the third round of the state playoffs as a senior. He made 49 tackles with three sacks, 20 quarterback hurries and two fumble recoveries in his final year. He won three state championships while at Aledo (2019-21), helping them go a combined 40-3. He was First Team All-District his final three years, playing four varsity seasons in total.
 
Thompson, an Aledo, Texas, native, will pursue his master’s degree in marketing at Tarleton State University.
