Green has spent time at three previous institutions; San Diego State in 2024, Tennessee State in 2023, and Trinity Valley Community College in 2021-22. He was a two-year started at Trinity Valley and chose Tennessee State among five offers. There he played in four games, making his debut against Notre Dame on Sept. 2.
 
“He’s a talented kid with great feet,” Whitten said. “In the 2023 season he was the starting left tackle at Tennessee State and they opened at Notre Dame, and he did a really nice job on those guys. He’s a talented guy and I really think he’s going to be a big help, much needed tackle in our offensive line room.”
 
Green is an Austin, Texas, native. He played his prep career at Cedar Park High School, where he was First Team All-District and First Team All-Area. Green will study sports management and communications at Tarleton State University.
