Biography
Sophomore (2023-24):
Second Team All-WAC … Twice earned a WAC midseason award, named the WAC Men's Golfer of the Month in October and the WAC Men's Golfer of the Week on Feb. 15 … Led the Texans in wins (one), top-10 finishes (tied at three), top-20 finishes (six), and scoring average (72.7) … Played in 10 of Tarleton's 11 tournaments, logging 30 rounds … Shot sub-70 six times … Had an incredible four-tournament stretch in which he was either the medalist or the runner-up three times … Took medalist honors at the Monterrey International Invitational on Oct. 27-28, shooting -15 overall (70-66-65), going -13 over his final two rounds in Mexico ... In his final round at that tournament between nine holes, Nos. 6-14, he turned in eight birdies to tie the lowest round in Texan Men's Golf history at 65 (-7), becoming the second medalist in Tarleton's short revived history … Added runner-up finishes in two of his next three tournaments, shooting -5 (72-67-69) for second at the Bentwater Intercollegiate Feb. 12-13, then turning in at -12 (67-70-67) at the Collin Montgomerie Invitational on March 4-5.

Had the second best scoring average on the team as a freshman at 74.0 across 32 rounds, playing in all 11 tournaments … Logged four top-20 finishes, twice in the top-10, with his top result being tied-third in his second collegiate tournament at the Oregon State Invitational in Corvallis, Oregon, at Trysting Tree Golf Club, shooting -2 (72-71-68) … Also took tied-sixth at the Colin Montgomerie Invitational at Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land, Texas, on March 6-7 at -8 (68-69-71) … Shot a season-best round score of 68 three times … Was sub-70 five times, capped off by his final round at the WAC Championship (-3, 69) to earn him tied-35th in the season’s biggest tournament at +1.
