Broke the Tarleton single season record with 24 wins and had an overall record of 24-11... Was tops with a 2.43 earned run average, 186 strikeouts and three saves... Set Tarleton single season record with 230.1 innings pitched... Led the conference with 46 appearances and pitched 20 complete games...Also led the TexAnns with a .391 batting average... Recorded 63 hits and 35 runs scored in 161 at bats... Had one double, one triple and seven runs batted in... Also led the team with a .443 on base percentage...

High School: 2004 graduate of Waco Midway High School... Earned All-American honors as a senior... Named first team Super Centex her junior and senior seasons...Received All-District 16-4A accolades as a junior and senior...

Personal: Daughter of Bobby and Debbie Saulters... Major is education.

Coach Mata says: As if it’s not obvious by the numerous records she broke last season, this young woman is one of the most competitive people I’ve ever come across. She wants to win and she’s proven that she knows how. She suffered through a knee injury last season that would have benched the average athlete, but she worked very hard, and didn’t get down. Her numbers on offense and defense last season could have been even more impressive had she not been injured. As hard as she’s worked in the off-season, and as good of shape as she’s in, you should expect even bigger things from her this season.
