Previous College: Transfers to Tarleton from Grossmont Community College... Won Most Inspirational award in 2008... Was named best defensive player in 2009... Finished season with a 15-3 record while walking only nine batters...

High School: Won Coach's award as a senior...

Personal: 2006 graduate of El Cajon Valley High School... Parents are Cecilia and John Aguilar... Major is child development... Says her best asset to the team is her inspiration.

Coach Mata says:  “It hurt to see Janelle go down with a season-ending knee injury this fall because she was really pitching good.  She’s had her surgery and I expect she’ll be back and pitching great next year.  She’s still got such a great out-going personality and is an important part of our program.”
