Entering 2024-25, Toby Rhodes will begin his second season as a graduate assistant in the Tarleton State Athletics communications department.
In 2024-25, Rhodes will serve as the primary media contact for the Texan softball and women’s golf programs, leading photography efforts for the department, as well as assisting in game day operations for all other sports. In 2023-24, Rhodes was the primary media contact for the softball, cross country and track and field programs.
Prior to joining the staff, Rhodes spent four years with Tarleton Athletics, three as a student intern. As an intern he pursued the creative track learning the ins and outs of photography, videography, and social media. He also assisted in other areas as needed.
An Athens, Texas, native, Rhodes received his bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a concentration in sports communication in December of 2023. He is now pursuing a Master of Science degree in kinesiology with a concentration in sport administration at Tarleton State.
