Sophomore (2014):
Competed in ten meets for the TexAnns as a heptathlete… Recorded Personal Bests indoor of 8.01 (55m), 9.32 (55mH) and 1:34.31 (600y)… Set personal best during outdoor season of 16.04 (100mH), 26.57 (200m), 2:25.64 (800m), 1.42m(4’ 7.75”) (High Jump), 4.63m (15’ 2.25”) (Long Jump), 9.28m (30’ 5.5”) (Shot Put) and 27.83m (91’ 4”)… Best heptathlete score of 2,760 points indoor and 3,920 outdoors…
Freshman (2013):
Competed in three track meets for the TexAnns as a true freshman… Competed in two events for Tarleton recording season best in both events at the Lion Invitational on the campus of Texas A&M-Commerce finishing fifth in the 400m 1:02.91 and sixth in the javelin 18.00m (59’ 1”).
Sinton High School:
Was a four-year letterwinner in track and field, a three-year letterwinner in volleyball, a two-year letterwinner in basketball and a one-year letterwinner in cross country... Four-time district and regional champion in track and field... District and regional champion in cross country... Won district, regional and went to the state championship in volleyball... Named first-team all-district in volleyball in 2011... Academic all-state in volleyball and cross country... Academic all-district in basketball.
Personal:
Is a 2012 graduate of Sinton High School... Daughter of Raquel Nemec and Charles Vin Smith... Has two brothers, Grady and Joseph Michael... Father, Charles, played football for Abilene Christian University... Grandfather, Charles "Chuck" Smith, played football for Abilene Christian University, the San Francisco 49ers and the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the Candian League... Majoring in nursing... Born April 2, 1994.
