Lettered all four years in track and field under coach Cooper Thornhill … Won a 1A District and Area Championship in the 200m … Her prep personal record in the event was 27.61 seconds … In the 4x200m relay, led Blum to District, Area and Regional Championships and a third place finish at the TX UIL 1A State Track and Field Championships … Was also a member of 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams that claimed District and Area titles … Top relay splits she helped post were 1:49.89 in the 4x200m and 4:15.49 in the 4x 400m … Also earned two varsity letters apiece in basketball and softball and played one season of varsity volleyball … On the volleyball court, helped Blum advance to the TX UIL 1A State Volleyball Championship … In basketball, won a District team championship … Also excelled in the classroom … Finished second at the UIL 1A level in theatrical design and was a UIL Regional qualifier in literary criticism, science and ready writing. 

Personal 
Is a 2021 graduate of Blum HS in Blum, Texas … Did not compete in organized sports until high school … First ran track her freshman year after her history teacher and head coach asked her to try the sport … Then played every sport Blum HS offered through her senior year, competing in volleyball, basketball and softball in addition to track and field … She said of her athletics journey, “It was something I never had even though of but athletics really changed my whole idea of who I wanted to be and what I wanted to do,” … Daughter of Al and Kelly Thornell … Has three brothers, Brian, Matthew and Elijah, and a sister, Megan … Majoring in English … Born Oct. 8.
