Freshman (13-14):
Competed in 10 track meets for the Texans as a true freshman… Recorded 13 top-five finishes throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons… Set personal best in the 400m of 48.44 in the prelims of the Lone Star Conference outdoor championships in Kingsville… Set a personal best in the 200m of 21.61w... Received NCAA South Central All-Region honors as a member of the 4x400m relay…Was part of the 4x400m squad that broke a 24-year-old school record two times throughout the season clocking a season best of 3:09.17 en route to finishing the season as an All-American with a sixth place finish at the NCAA National Championships in Allendale, Michigan.

    Lettered in football and track… Was a team captain... Area and regional champions in the 4x400m relay clocking a 3:20.5… Received the TAFF regional athlete of the year in 2012… City athlete of the year 2012… Allen High School Athlete of the year 2012… Holds a personal record in the 400m of 48.3.

    Is a 2013 graduate of Allen High School… Son of Cordellia and Gilbert Umunnakwe…Has four siblings, Emma(22), Daniela(21), Ivanna(16), and Benoni(13)… Majoring in Biomedical Science… Born March 29, 1995.
