Is featured on Tarleton’s all-time top-10 list in four events … His indoor and outdoor lifetime personal record in the pole vault (15’ 1”) ranks third on Tarleton’s indoor record book and sixth in outdoor program history … Also ranks fourth all-time in the decathlon (5,638 points) and seventh in the 60m (7.06) … Received Academic All-WAC recognition during the 2021 outdoor and 2022 indoor seasons.
Sophomore (2022)
Outdoor: Competed in four regular season meets before an injury forced him out of the WAC Outdoor Championships … Matched his lifetime personal record in the pole vault at the North Texas Classic after he cleared 15’ 1” to place fourth … Also notched a season personal record of 11.14 in the 100m and anchored Tarleton’s 4x100m relay team to a fourth-place finish at the meet … Placed 11th and 13th, respectively, in the pole vault at the Baylor Invitational and ACU Wes Kittley Invitational.
Indoor: Saw action at all four meets … Helped Tarleton’s distance medley relay finish sixth and placed 15th in the heptathlon at the WAC Indoor Championships … Won the pole vault and earned a lifetime personal record of 15’ 1” in his collegiate indoor debut at the Corky Classic … Notched lifetime personal records in the 60m hurdles (8.98) and shot put (33’ 3.75”) at the FasTrack Collegiate Challenge … Helped Tarleton’s ‘B’ 4x400m relay team finish 10th at the Texas Tech Open and Multi.
