Raced at two outdoor meets … Notched a lifetime personal record in the 800m (2:29.41) at the UTA Invitational … Also helped Tarleton’s ‘B’ 4x400m relay team place fourth at the meet … Debuted and crossed the 800m finish line ninth at the North Texas Classic. 

Royce City High School 
Earned four varsity letters in track and field and three in cross country … Primary events in track and field were the 400m, 800m and 4x200m and 4x400m relays … Was a TX UIL 5A Area and Regional qualifier her freshman, sophomore and senior seasons … Qualified for the Texas Relays in the 4x400m relay in 2018 and 2019 … Top 4x400m relay split was 1:03.40 … Other prep personal records were 1:04.31 in the 400m, 2:34 in the 800m and 5:40.18 in the 1,500m … Her cross country 5k personal best was 23:59.03 … Also lettered once in powerlifting … Received Academic All-State accolades in track and field in 2021 … Member of her high school’s Honor Roll from 2019-2021 … Awarded with a Blue Jean Scholarship from Tarleton.

Her nickname is “Jack” … 2021 graduate of Royce City HS in Royce City, Texas … Competed in club track and field for one year for the Texas Titans … Was teammates with Lucas Kurtz, who is a sophomore on the Tarleton cross country and track and field teams … Daughter of Jacob and Janie Wenzel … Has two sisters, Alexa and Jessy, and one brother, Zachary … Majoring in kinesiology … Born Aug. 22.
