Qualified for the National Championships in the 400m hurdles... Achieved the automatic qualifying mark with a time of 51.82 in the LSC Championship finals, earning a second-place finish... His 51.82 is a school record, breaking the previous record which he set earlier in the 2012 season of 51.90... Earned all-conference honors... Named all-region... Finished ninth in the National Championship meet with a time of 52.50... Competed in 10 track and field meets as a junior.

Three-year letterwinner in track & field... Two-time 'Athlete of the Month'... Two-time district champion... Two-time state qualifier... Finished sixth in the state as a junior and fourth as a senior... Two-time District MVP... Also participated in football... Named to the DFW Super Track Team... Team captain and MVP as a senior... Competed alongside current Texan teammate, Phillip Hayes.
