Biography
Junior (2021)
Threw the discus and competed in the hammer throw at the Wes Kittley ACU Invitational … Placed 22nd in the discus with a throw of 100’ 9” and took 14th in the hammer throw at 128’ 8”.
Sophomore (2020)
Competed in two meets … Set a personal record in the weight throw (36’ 10.5”) at the Howie Ryan Invitational.
Freshman (2019)
Threw in eight meets for the Texans … Notched personal records in the discus (136’ 6”) and hammer throw (138’ 6”) at the Lone Star Conference Outdoor Championships, respectively placing 10th and 9th in each event … Competed in the shot put at the LSC Indoor Championships … Finished fourth and set a personal record in the javelin (99’ 8”) at the East Texas Quad … Earned a pair of fourth-place finishes in the discus at the East Texas Invitational and shot put at the Texas Tech Matador Qualifier.
Munday High School
Earned four varsity letters in track and field for coach Patrick Cocoran … Notched fourth-place finishes in the discus at the 2017 and 2018 UIL State Track and Field Championships … Owns the school record in the event (136’ 8”) … Selected to the THSCA All-State Track and Field Team … Also played volleyball and basketball … Received the Munday High Fighting Heart and Sammie Rayburn Bowman Memorial Awards … Member of National Honor Society.
