Biography
Sophomore (14-15):
Competed in four cross country meets for the Texans…. Opened the season with a sixth place finish at the Bob Gravett Invitational… Set a personal best in the 8K at the UIW Cross Country Invitational of 26:12.4 finishing 34th in a meet that saw every Texan runner set personal best… Was part of a Texan cross country team that won a school record three consecutive meets.
Freshman (13-14):
Ran in the season opening meet at West Texas A&M… Ran the Mile once during Indoor Trck and Field season… Competed in the 800m and 1500m… Had a season-best finish in the 800m at the LSC Championships where he finished 14th in 1:56.34.
Salado High School:
Lettered three years in cross country and three years in track… Qualified for state in the 800m senior year finishing eighth in 1:59. 57… Qualified for state in cross country as a senior.
Personal:
Is a 2013 graduate of Salado High School… Son of Carolyn and Richard Pereira… Majoring in Kinesiology… Born August 10, 1995.
