After the 2023-24 season, Gonzalez completed her first season as a graduate assistant for the Tarleton State women's golf program.

In her first season with the Texans, she helped lead the to their best finish in the WAC Championship as a team and their highest finish for an individual. The Texans finished fifth overall and Sofia Rodriguez tied for second to mark the highest finish by a Texan at the WAC Championship in their first four years of competition.

A graduate from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 2023, Gonzalez spent five seasons on the golf team. During her time she broken multiple school records. Entering the fall of 2023, she holds five school records. She is the record holder for: rounds played (96), stroke average in a career (78.41) and a season (77.04; 2021-22), 18-hole score (67; fall 2019; UNK Invite) and 36-hole score (141; fall 2022; Central Region Preview). As a fifth year in 2022-23 she was named All-MIAA Honorable Mention, and was Academic All-MIAA as a freshman.

As a junior player in Puerto Rico, Gonzalez was the National Champion in 2016 and 2018. She graduated from Nebraska-Kearney with a B.S. degree in Health Science. She is pursuing her master's degree in Kinesiology at Tarleton State.

A native of Cayey, Puerto Rico, she graduated from Thomas Alva Edison School in 2018.
