Max Slaughter

Max Slaughter joins Tarleton State Volleyball as a Graduate Assistant for the 2025 season.
 
Prior to Tarleton State, Slaughter coached locally with Sky High Volleyball Club, where he guided the development of 17 and 18-year-old girls’ teams. He also volunteers as an assistant coach with the Tarleton State beach volleyball team.
 
Slaughter’s collegiate playing career spanned multiple institutions, including Menlo College, Olivet Nazarene University (where he earned All-Conference honors) and St. Francis-Brooklyn. Before his college journey, Slaughter established a strong foundation at Moanalua High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. There he was named the Hawaii Boys Volleyball Player of the Year and earned First-Team All-American honors.
 
Slaughter is a Tarleton State University alumnus, holding a bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus in accounting. He is now furthering his education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Tarleton State.
