Arkansas State (2023-24)
Played in 28 games with 23 starts while averaging 11.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest … Ended the season with six straight double-digit scoring performances after returning from a mid-season injury … Earned Sun Belt Conference All-Tournament honors after averaging 22 points and 7 rebounds while shooting 62.9 percent from the field and 90.5 percent at the foul line in the conference tournament … Ended the season with six straight double-digit scoring performances after returning from a mid-season injury ... Scored a season-high 24 points and went 11-for-13 at the charity stripe in the Sun Belt championship game against James Madison (March 11) … Sank the buzzer-beating shot against top-seeded Appalachian State to send A-State to the conference tournament final ... Scored 21 points with 7 rebounds in his A-State debut at Wisconsin (Nov. 6).

Sophomore (2022-23)
Appeared in and started 23 games for the Texans … Named second team All-WAC … Led the team averaging 16.2 points and 6.0 rebounds … Tabbed WAC Player of the Week on Jan. 21 after a two-game performance at the Paradise Jam averaging 23.5 points on 58.8 percent shooting, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals earning a selection to the Paradise Jam All-Tournament Team … Honored as Academic All-WAC … Finished 12^th in the league in scoring … Was one of five WAC players to record multiple 30-point efforts … Led the team with seven 20-plus point performances … Scored in double-figures in 18 of his 23 games … Named to the Preseason All-WAC Second Team … One of two Texans to notch a double-double on the season with his 30-point and 11-rebound performance against Radford in the first round of the CBI on March 19^th … Recorded 18 made free throws against Belmont on Nov. 18 the most by a WAC player in a game on the season.
 
Freshman (2021-22):
Started all 31 games for the Texans, averaging 12.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.9 steals in 31.1 minutes per game … He averaged the second most rebounds and the third most points on the team … Led the Texans with seven games scoring 20-plus points … Boasted a career-high 29 points on 10-of-15 shooting (3-3 3PT, 6-8 FT), to go with four rebounds, two assists and two steals on Jan. 29 at UTRGV … Tarleton went 7-0 when Hicks scored at least 20 points … Scored 10+ points in 20 games … Grabbed a season-high nine rebounds four different times … Concluded the season with six-straight games scoring in double figures, averaging 17.3 points … In WAC play, he averaged more than double the points in conference play (16.3 PPG) as he did in non-conference play (8.1 PPG) … Had a  20+ point three-game streak from Feb. 19-26.
 
Freshman (2020-21):
Named the WAC Freshman of the Year … Appeared in all 20 games for Tarleton, making 16 starts … Led all WAC first-year players in scoring (8.2 PPG) … Finished second on the team in rebounds per game (5.4) and was first in blocks per game (0.6) … Led Tarleton with three double-doubles … Averaged 8.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in conference play … Was Tarleton’s leading rebounder, as he finished the season with 108 boards ... Had seven double-digit scoring games and three double-doubles … Enjoyed his best game in a 65-47 road victory over UTRGV on March 5, finishing with 21 points and 11 boards, both of which were game-highs … Recorded his first career double-double with a 20-point, 13-rebound performance against California Baptist on Jan. 16 … Posted his second double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds at Dixie State on Feb. 20.
 
Searcy High School:
Three-year letter winner at Searcy High School under head coach Wayne Herran... Was a team captain during his senior season ... Finished his career at Searcy as the all-time leading scorer with 1,603 points ... Was a two-time All-State and two-time All-Conference selection ... Ranked No. 13 in the state of Arkansas ... As a senior, averaged 24 points on the season, including 27 points per game in conference play, with 11 rebounds, three assists and two blocks ... Shot 47 percent from the floor, 30 percent on three-pointers and 78 percent at the free throw line ... Led the 5A East region in scoring his senior season ... Excelled off the court in the classroom as he was in the Spanish Honor Society and a member of student council at Searcy HS.
