Started all 31 games for the Texans, averaging 12.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 0.9 steals in 31.1 minutes per game … He averaged the second most rebounds and the third most points on the team … Led the Texans with seven games scoring 20-plus points … Boasted a career-high 29 points on 10-of-15 shooting (3-3 3PT, 6-8 FT), to go with four rebounds, two assists and two steals on Jan. 29 at UTRGV … Tarleton went 7-0 when Hicks scored at least 20 points … Scored 10+ points in 20 games … Grabbed a season-high nine rebounds four different times … Concluded the season with six-straight games scoring in double figures, averaging 17.3 points … In WAC play, he averaged more than double the points in conference play (16.3 PPG) as he did in non-conference play (8.1 PPG) … Had a 20+ point three-game streak from Feb. 19-26.

Had seven double-digit scoring games and three double-doubles … Enjoyed his best game in a 65-47 road victory over UTRGV on March 5, finishing with 21 points and 11 boards, both of which were game-highs … Recorded his first career double-double with a 20-point, 13-rebound performance against California Baptist on Jan. 16 … Posted his second double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds at Dixie State on Feb. 20.
