Graduate Student Season
Twirled the second perfect game in program history, 18 up and 18 down with five punchouts on Feb. 19 against Texas A&M-Commerce … Led the Texan staff with 39 appearances and started 25 times in Tarleton’s second straight season earning a postseason bid to the National Invitational Softball Championships … Earned a pair of WAC Pitcher of the Week Honors (Feb. 20 and March 20) … Named the Tarleton Student-Athlete of the Month in February … Led the team with 13 wins, 150 innings and 106 strikeouts … Ranked second in the WAC in punchouts … Her 13 wins became the most by a Texan hurler in their Division I era … Tossed 12 complete games and three shutouts … Held opposing hitters to a .278 batting average and owned the lowest ERA on the team (4.20) … Her 39 appearances was the tied-seventh-most in a single season by a Texan and the third best by a Texan in her first year with the program … Registered two saves to tie for 10th all-time in program history and the most in a single season in Tarleton’s Division I era.
