Chelsea Stone joined the Tarleton State Athletics Academic staff as an athletic academic coordinator in September 2023. She enters 2025-26 as the primary academic advisor for the baseball, women’s basketball, men’s golf and soccer programs.

Before arriving in Stephenville, Stone worked two years for her alma mater, Tulane, as an academic and career advisor. She comprehensively monitored student academic success and transition, provided professional guidance, consultation and expertise related to career development, plus developed and managed academic and career advising processes to ensure student success.

The Newton, Massachusetts, native earned her master’s degree in school counseling at Vanderbilt in 2019 after receiving her undergraduate degree in psychology at Tulane in 2016.

Chelsea Stone resides in Stephenville with her husband, Jake Stone, who is an assistant coach for the Tarleton State football team.
