Entering 2025-26, Drew Banks will begin his fourth season with Tarleton State Athletics after he joined the staff full time in November of 2022 as the Assistant Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement.
Banks began at Tarleton State in August of 2022 as emcee/announcer, and performed all promotional and fan engagement speaking roles at all soccer, volleyball, football, and basketball events during the Fall 2022 semester including Volleyball Block Party, Midnight Madness, and the Homecoming Bonfire. Banks also served as announcer for the inaugural Tarleton State Soccer season.
In his current role, in addition to his role as emcee/announcer, Banks serves as the lead marketing & fan engagement contact for soccer, men’s basketball and baseball, while assisting with all other sports.
Before Tarleton State, Banks was with the Dallas Cowboys as a marketing intern from 2010-13 and then took on a full-time role as New Business Development/Mobile Marketing Representative in 2014. In this role he aided in the planning, coordination, and execution of on and off-site special events for both the Cowboys and their sponsors.
Banks has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas. Originally from Sanger, Texas, he and his wife Dr. Haley Banks have three children: Josey, Randy and Juliana.
