Elle Fox

Fox joins the coaching staff ahead of the 2025-26 season after a successful three playing seasons as a Texan. The now graduate student will pursue a graduate degree in business where she is pursuing her MBA. She replaces Faviola Gonzalez who spent two seasons as a graduate assistant for the Texans and graduated in the spring.
 
The Copperas, Texas, native, was a part of the 2024-25 WAC Champion Tarleton State Texans. For the first time in program history the Texans won the WAC Tournament and earned an automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Regional Tournament. She finished 60th overall with a final round of 77 at The Rawls Course at Texas Tech at the 2025 Regional Championships.
 
During her time with the Texans, Fox posted six top 20 performances and two within the top 10. Her best finish came as a sophomore at the Little Rock Women’s Golf Classic. She finished tied for third shooting a career-best 215 across 54 holes. Also as a sophomore she shot a pair of 70’s, her best rounds of her career.
 
Fox also excelled in the classroom. She earned Academic All-WAC honors in each of her final two seasons with the Texans. She graduated in 2025 with a degree in communications.
 
Fox started her career at Mississippi State. She played in two tournaments spanning five rounds as a freshman. She posted a season-best finish at the two-round Auburn Individual. After the season, she decided to transfer to Tarleton for the final three seasons of her collegiate career.
 
She graduated from Copperas Cove in the class of 2021. Fox was a three-time 6A district tournament winner, taking the title in 2018, 2019 and 2021, with no tournament in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the most ever by a Bulldawg. As a senior, she was named the Copperas Cove Female Athlete of the Year. She qualified for the 6A regional tournament in 2018, 2019 and 2021. During her senior campaign, she finished tied-13th at the 6A Girls Golf State Tournament. She also holds school records for tournament wins (16) and lowest score among both boys and girls (66).
