Jarius Fields is in his second year with Tarleton State Athletics as the Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement in 2026-27. In his role, Fields oversees all marketing initiatives, including gameday environment and overall fan experience.
Prior to Tarleton State, Fields served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo from 2023-25. In his time with the Mustangs, Fields' marketing department broke back to back football attendance records in 2023 and 2024. Fields also created the Mustang basketball tip-off event at Cal Poly and his team spearheaded the push for the first sell-out crown at Cal Poly Basketball since 2017. Fields also started three internship programs at Cal Poly, providing internship opportunities for over 30 Cal Poly students.
Fields also served as the Director of Marketing at Mercer University, leading the SoCon in football attendance in the 2022 season and spearheading multiple non-athletic events throughout the academic year. Fields also has marketing director experience at Charleston Southern University and Idaho State University, including stops at Southern Utah University and the University of Tulsa.
A 2018 University of Oklahoma graduate, Fields is a San Bernardino, California, native. He spent his final two years of high school in Las Vegas, graduating from Arbor View High School. He now resides in Stephenville, Texas.
