Kelsey Ground enters her first season as Assistant Coach/Graduate Assistant for Tarleton State Women's Basketball in 2025-26. She currently helps with recruiting efforts, workouts, practices and scouting.
Ground is coming off a career as a student-athlete for The University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. Competing for the women's basketball team from 2023-25, Ground scored 150 points in her senior season and averaged 5.6 points per game.
The Mineral Wells, Texas, native scored over 2,000 career points at Millsap High School in addition to being named Parker County and District Offensive Player of the Year.
In addition to her basketball experience, Ground served as the SAAC Director of Social Media and was a student assistant for the volleyball team at the University of the Ozarks. She also served as an Operations Associate for Game on Arena Sports.
Ground earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of the Ozarks in 2025 and is currently working on her master's degree at Tarleton State University.
