When the 2026 season begins, Sean Moorer will begin his third season at Tarleton State as Defensive Graduate Assistant. He mostly assists with the defensive line in his role.

Moorer joined Tarleton State after spending the 2023 season at Louisiana-Monroe as an assistant quarterbacks coach. There he assisted in game planning and recruiting, plus instructed quarterbacks in drills and meetings.

From 2011-22, Moorer was co-defensive coordinator, defensive backs coach, and special teams coordinator at Niceville High School. Moorer is a Niceville, Florida, native. He earned his bachelor’s degree in general studies at West Florida in 2022.
