Ty Jenkins joined Tarleton State's coaching staff in 2026. He has spent numerous years at the collegiate and club levels.
Jenkins is the co-founder, co-owner and co-director of Untouchables Elite Performance Academy Volleyball Club in Plano, Texas. Well known in the North Texas region, Jenkins has led his clubs to seven bids to USA Nationals. His teams also won the Las Vegas Classic in 2017 and 2019.
Prior to his arrival to the Texans, Jenkins was on the North Texas Mean Green coaching staff. He was the first assistant at Park University from 1997 to 2000 before moving on to Middle Tennessee.
From 2004 to 2009, he helped build Middle Tennesssee into a perennial powerhouse. The Blue Raiders clinched NCAA Tournament bids in four consecutive seasons, including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2007. While in Murfreesboro, he coached nine AVCA All-Americans and 14 all-conference players.
His coaching career began as an assistant for Maryville University in St. Louis in 1995. During his two seasons with the Lady Saints, Jenkins helped build the team that made a conference finals appearance in 1996.
