STEPHENVILLE - The Tarleton TexAnns will take its 4-0 record on the road to Austin this Saturday, Nov. 28 to play St. Edward's. Tip-off at St. Edward's Recreation and Convocation Center is scheduled for 2 p.m.
The TexAnns are coming off the largest margin of victory in school history, following a 109-29 win over Concordia on Tuesday. The 80-point margin broke the original 28 year-old record of 78 points that was set back on Mar. 8, 1981 when the TexAnns defeated Centenary 114-36.
St. Edward's heads into this weekend's game with an 0-4 record after falling 86-60 to Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant, Okla. on Tuesday.
The Hilltoppers were 15-13 overall and 9-5 in the Heartland Conference a season ago. Much like the TexAnns, SEU won their final five games to secure a conference postseason tournament berth.
SEU's senior forward Sara Head leads her team averaging a double-double heading into Saturday's game. She averages 12.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per contest. Sophia Holguin is averaging 17.5 points in the two games she has played in, while Kelli Payton averages 15.8 after seeing action in all four of SEU's games. Sophomore guard Brittany Ward leads the team with 18 assists.
SEU is shooting .404 percent from the field with a .211 shooting percentage from beyond the arc. The Hilltoppers are making .643 percent of their shots from the free-throw line. SEU is outscoring their opponents 132-121 in the first-half of the season, but are being outscored 171-122 in the second-half. In SEU's one overtime game against Angelo State, the Hilltoppers were outscored 13-1 by the Rambelles.

JoAnne Jones leads the TexAnns with a 13.5 points per contest average. She is shooting a team-high .632 percent from the field as well. Junior forward Brittanie Haley leads the team on the boards with a 7.5 rebounds per game average. She is also tops on the squad with nine blocks. Junior

Shelby Adamson are tied for the team lead with 16 assists each. Sundberg meanwhile leads the team with a .667 (8-12) shooting percentage from the three-point line and has a team-high 11 steals.
The TexAnns are shooting .525 from the floor so far this season. They are shooting .415 percent from downtown and .645 percent from the charity stripe. Tarleton has forced 123 turnovers while only given up 67 turnovers to opponents. The TexAnns are out-rebounding their opponents 158-141 as well.
