STEPHENVILLE - The Tarleton Texan baseball team will host the West Texas A&M Buffaloes this weekend with a four-game series beginning Friday, March 19 at Cecil Ballow Baseball Complex in Stephenville.

The Texans (11-13, 8-12) are coming off its first four-game series sweep of the 2010 series after taking all four games from East Central in Ada, Okla. last weekend. WT (6-10, 3-10) has won three straight after defeating Wayland Baptist in Canyon earlier this week and splitting its series with Texas A&M-Kingsville this past weekend in Kingsville.

The Texans will be looking to avenge a 1-3 series loss to the Buffs in Canyon last season. WT opened the four-game series with a 13-6 win and then tripped up the Texans 8-7 in the second game. WT then closed out the series taking the first game of a doubleheader 9-3 before Tarleton down the Buffs 13-3 in the series finale.

Doubleheaders are scheduled for both Friday and Saturday with Friday's game one set to begin at 3 p.m. Saturday's first pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
