UIW's Elroy Urbina (2-1) picked up the win for the Cardinals after coming into the game in the sixth and throwing two scoreless innings of relief. Alfredo Caballero (S, 5) came in and worked the final 2.1 innings to notch his fifth save of the season.
The Texans finished the game scoring the eight runs on nine hits as Dishmey, Wolfe, Kapple and Hille each had multiple hit games. Dishmey extended his hit streak to seven games, but Casazza went hitless on the evening and his hit streak was halted at nine games.
The Texans will return to action this weekend as the team hits the road for a Lone Star Conference series with Central Oklahoma. Friday's doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at Broncho Field in Edmond, Okla.
