STEPHENVILLE – The Tarleton Texans will host St. Mary's at Cecil Ballow Baseball Complex in Stephenville on Wednesday, April 7, in non-conference baseball action.

The Texans (18-20) are coming off a 3-1 Lone Star Conference series win over Central Oklahoma this past weekend where Tarleton hammered out 39 runs, including a 20-run performance over the Bronchos in the series finale. The Texans hit a total of seven home runs with Chris Casazza hitting a pair of them.

The Rattlers (25-11) are coming off a doubleheader split with St. Edward's in Austin, last Friday, but still managed to win the series 3-1 after sweeping the doubleheader on Thursday.

St. Mary's won both games last season, defeating the Texans 16-10 in Stephenville and 5-3 in San Antonio. The Rattlers currently hold a 31-10 all-time record over the Texans.

First pitch is set for 3 p.m. in Stephenville.
