LOOKING FOR A WIN
The Tarleton Texan era under new head coach Cary Fowler did not start out as planned, as the Texans are still looking for their first win after a 31-23 loss to Northeastern State in the season opener. The Texans will travel for the first of three straight games on the road, facing Central Oklahoma at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11 in Edmond, Okla.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS
Despite winning the last two meetings and four of the last five contests between the two schools, Tarleton still trails in the overall series, 4-5.

Tarleton won last year's contest in Edmond, Okla. on Sept. 19, 35-17. The last UCO victory came on Sept. 25, 2004. The Bronchos won 42-17 in Edmond. The Texans are 2-3 all-time in Edmond at Wantland Stadium.
