The Cardinals enter the contest having only dropped one game on the season, a 10-point loss to West Texas A&M in the Lone Star Conference opener, while Tarleton has won its last two.

With a win, the TexAnns will even their season record for the second time since the season started. They have not had a winning record at any point, yet, this season.
