DENTON - The Tarleton women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Central Oklahoma Wednesday afternoon on the campus of North Texas in Denton.

The TexAnns (7-6) fell to a very tough Broncho team that was coming off a big upset of Cameron the week before.

Tarleton got off to a fast start with doubles wins over UCO by Mariana Freitas and Alicia Perez in No. 1 doubles and Adrianna Jaskova and Melanie Barnes in No. 2 doubles.

Unfortunately for the TexAnns, that would be all the victories they would get on Wednesday, as they were swept by the Bronchos in singles play.

Tarleton will try to rebound on Friday when they face Northeastern State at 10 a.m. in Sherman on the campus of Austin College.
