STEPHENVILLE – Tarleton returns home for the first time in two weeks Saturday to host Texas A&M-Kingsville at 2 p.m. in Wisdom Gym.

LAST TIME OUT
Tarleton was swept in its annual trip to Denton as Texas Woman's took the season series from the TexAnns with three straight victories. The TexAnns had no players with over 10 kills as Jasmyne Brown was the top offensive player with seven kills.
 
WHAT'S AT STAKE
With the regular season dying down, Tarleton is currently in fourth place in the Lone Star Conference standings while the Javelinas are sitting at No. 5, just a half game behind Tarleton.
 
SEASON'S PREVIOUS MEETING
Tarleton won the match in four sets down south when these teams got together on September 27. Jazmine Green led the team with 15 kills while Stacie Murrah had 12. Danielle Barker had 44 assists in the first meeting as Tarleton hit .225 as a team.
 
SERIES HISTORY
The TexAnns have a chance to even up the all-time series at 20 apiece. After Tarleton's win in September, Kingsville now leads the all-time series 20-19 dating back to 1985. Tarleton has won two straight meetings and six of the last seven since 2010.
 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Stacie Murrah enters Saturday's game as the reigning LSC Co-Offensive Player of the week after leading the team with 58 kills, which was 18 more than the next closest TexAnn, last week. She also led the team in hitting percentage (.291) and kills per set (4.14) while adding on 10 digs and 11 block assists.
 
UP NEXT FOR TARLETON
The TexAnns will make its annual trip to New Mexico and Canyon next weekend for a Friday night game against Eastern New Mexcio and a Saturday afternoon match against West Texas A&M.
