STEPHENVILLE - Tarleton will make its annual Lone Star Conference trip north of the Red River Wednesday night for the final meeting of the regular season against Cameron. The TexAnns and Aggies will tip-off at 6 p.m. on senior night in Lawton.
Including a win earlier this season, Tarleton has the advantage in the all-time series history against the Aggies 13-9, dating back to the first meeting in 1994. The TexAnns have won seven straight games against the Aggies dating back to Dec. 7, 2006. Tarleton is 7-3 all-time in Aggie Gym and 25-31 all-time in non-neutral site games in the state of Oklahoma.
Under head coach Ronnie Hearne, Tarleton is 8-5 against Cameron including eight wins in the last nine meetings.

Last Time Out
For the first time all season, Tarleton got received a double-figure scoring effort from all five members of the starting lineup - led by 25 from Peyton Adamson, who has now scored 76 points in her last three games.
Early season meeting
In the first meeting on January 9, Tarleton surrendered a 20-point performance to Brittany Harris but received double-figure efforts by Shanae Lowrance (16), Kiara Wright (13), Peyton Adamson (10) and Meagan O'Dell (10) to win 89-50 over the Aggies.
Player of the Week
Peyton Adamson earned player of the week honors by the Lone Star Conference last week after averaging 27.5 points per game over the last two contests. This is the third PoW award for Adamson this season and the fifth in her Tarleton career.
Dropping Dimes
Freshman Morgan Ashmore is making a strong case for the Freshman of the Year Award. The newcomer from Spearman High School is leading the Lone Star Conference in assists (4.1 apg) as well as assist-turnover ratio (1.8). She is also making national noise with her passing, moving up to No. 29 in assist-turnover ratio. Since taking over as the starter in December, Ashmore and the TexAnns are 15-3.
Leading the Nation
Following her 15-rebound performance against Incarnate Word, Kiara Wright has now moved into the top spot in the nation in rebounds with 13.7 per game. She is also tied for the national lead in double-doubles with 17. She is one of four players with 17 double-doubles this season. The second-most is 14.
Rebound records falling left and Wright
Kiara Wright has ripped up the Tarleton rebounding record books this season by moving into fifth place on the all-time rebounding list (736) and becoming the school's all-time NCAA rebounder by passing JoAnne Jones (636). She is also second on the defensive rebound list (513) and is 15 defensive rebounds shy of passing Kaelie Butler (527) and becoming the all-time leader in defensive boards - since 1987 when rebounds were first separated into offensive and defensive. She is also sixth place all-time in offensive rebounds (229). The junior has also recorded three 20-rebound games this season, giving her three of the five 20-rebound efforts in Tarleton's NCAA history. She also has 30 career double-doubles and 17 this season. She is also the first TexAnn in the NCAA era to lead the nation in rebounding at any point in the season.

The Lone Star Conference Basketball Championship is set to be played in Allen, Texas, for the second season. The tournament will feature eight men's and eight women's teams and is scheduled for an exciting four-day run from March 6-9. Reserve your tickets now and join your favorite team in Allen. Last Time Out for the Aggies
Abilene Christian scored 24 seconds into the contest and never looked back. Cameron never tied and never took the lead as the Wildcats led by as many as 18 points in the first half and 25 points in the game en route to a 72-53 victory over the Aggies. Chelsea Stamp scored 14 points for Cameron while Hannah Pollart added 10 as the only other double-figure scorer.
Looking Ahead for Tarleton
The TexAnns will return home for PACK IT PURPLE night as the TexAnns host Midwestern State in a battle in a big-time playoff seeding battle.
